ACCOMODATION
The holiday home is located in Granadilla de Abona, in the beautiful island Tenerife, and it impresses guests with its breathtaking views over El Teide, the most famous mountain in the island, and its charming outdoor area. This 270m2 house is divided into a main house and an apartment (see sleeping arrangements below), and altogether it consists of a living room, a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, 5 bedrooms (3 with double beds, one with 4 single beds, one with 2 single beds), as well as 4 bathrooms and can therefore accommodate 12 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, air conditioning and cable television.. The absolute highlight of the house is its beautiful outdoor area. Here you will find a lush garden, a beautiful terrace with a covered dining area and several uncovered sitting areas where you can relax with a cup of coffee in the morning, a generous pool ideal to cool off on warm summer days, and even a brick barbecue ideal to prepare delicious dishes. You will find a selection of shops, restaurants, bars and cafes just 3 minutes driving from the property (1.5km), while the closest beach, Playa del Médano, can be reached after 8 minutes driving (5.8km). Here guests can swim in the sea, stroll along the coast or just relax on the sand with a good book on the sand. The airport of the island is also conveniently located just a 5-minute drive away (4.8km).

The main house has 3 bedrooms (for 8 people), and the apartment has 2 bedrooms (for 4 people in total).

We navigate through the Medicine Wheel as a cognitive map of the different types of human experiences, in an inclusive and non-judgmental way, in order to recognize our true nature and enjoy a full and creative life in a relaxed way. Designing our own art to live the joy of existence, as conscious, responsible, self-empowered and loving human beings.
The Toltec way of Sacred Sexuality, offers us an update of ancient Mesoamerican teachings on the expression of creativity through sexuality and creativity in everyday life. Covering the different moments of existence, such as childhood, adolescence, maturity and old age. This sharing is rooted in the premises of the Arts of the Toltec way, with its suggestions, methods and practices so that one can re-create oneself as an artist of life
What is a Temazcal ?:
The temazcal is an Amerindian sweat lodge, like a sauna or Turkish bath, but with the purpose of purifying the body, mind, emotions and spirit. The temazcal is considered a complete ceremony for personal realization.
The word temazcal comes from the Nahuatl temazcalli which means “steam temple house”, and was one of the most popular traditional medicine methods in Mesoamerican cultures.
Its use and benefits have been preserved to this day because it can be used in a therapeutic, ritual and ceremonial way, and its practice survives today thanks to the oral tradition of the different native communities of America.
This ritual bath is carried out with the steam produced by aromatic and medicinal herbs, which emerges from the previously heated stones of volcanic origin. It is a very warm place where a guide, through songs and prayers, brings the participants into contact with themselves and with the fundamental elements of nature.

Conscious breathing is an umbrella term for methods that direct awareness to the breath. These methods may have the goal of improving breathing, or the primary goal can be to build mindfulness. Human respiration is controlled consciously or unconsciously. Conscious breathing activates the body’s relaxation response, which in turn reduces blood pressure, which in turn lowers the risk of stroke and improves cardiovascular health. It’s also good for digestion and general immunity, both of which are impaired by stress.
The Sacred Cacao ceremony has existed for thousands of years within the Mayan culture of the Yucatan Peninsula. Cacao is a superfood that connects us with love and invites us to get in touch with ourselves and with all beings in an inclusive and absolute way. The cacao ceremony, with its lightness and joy, makes room for us to welcome what we reject in ourselves and in others in a loving and profound way.

My Treatments & Spiritual Healing Ceremonies follow all the Spiritual & legal permits required by the indigenous law & Cosmovision in which I am fully trained to handle different ancestral medicines.
This is in accordance with the “Muysca Indigenous Community” cosmology, usages & customs. I have been guiding Spiritual Retreats in many countries in the last 10 years, helping people to transmute into a new way of loving life, overcoming traumas and old patterns.
Janaina Ormart:
Medicine Woman of the Mayan Toltec tradition, is an instructor of Kahlay (Toltec energy movements), landscaper of internal gardens, lover of cooking and practitioner of everyday life. Initiated in the Arts of the Toltec way, Tibetan Dzogchen, instructed in Native American shamanism and practitioner of Taoist Arts. Has formally walked this path for over 25 years. Originally born in Brazil. Janaina has lived in several Latin American countries where she had the opportunity to live and learn with men and women of wisdom from an early age. She had his first meditation teacher at the age of 6 and first contact with Taoism at the age of 10 with Master Mantak Chia.
At the age of 11, she began to receive in dreams a series of teachings on sexuality that led her to delve into the paths of this sacred tradition. Thus she met one of his main instructors of sacred sexuality, Taoist master Alex Ho Kim Wong from whom she received instruction for 8 years and with whom she maintains a long friendship.
Her main teachers in the Shamanic tradition were Doña Zilda and Doña Glaucia Mimbi Many Feathers from whom she received the Temazcal. Janaina has also received teachings from Grandfather Thunderstrikes, Elder of the Twisted Hairs, and Ina Laughing Winds, Teacher of Spiritual Sexuality. Her root teacher was Chogyal Namkhai Norbu and she is a member of the Dzogchen community since 2003. She continues to receive teachings from Don Carlos Jesús Castillejos of the Toltec Maya Tradition.
During her formative years, she was a businesswoman and cultural producer in Brazil, where she carried out numerous cultural projects. Today Janaina travels between the Canary Islands, Mexico and Brazil. She is part of the translation team of the Universal Healing Tao of Mantak Chia and is one of the founders and acting director of the international organisation Nahualli Institute for the preservation and dissemination of traditional cultures.
